Credits live in one shared pool per account, not per agent. Top up once and every agent you own draws from the same balance. Sign in with your wallet under Settings → Account to create (or find) your account — it automatically links the agents already on your device so they all share the pool.

Credit Costs
Live Agent
Each time your agent runs and calls the AI model, it costs credits. The cost per run depends on:- AI model — Opus models cost more than Flash models
- Whitelist size — more tokens = more data in the prompt = more tokens processed
- Data sources enabled — each additional source adds context

Backtests
The credit estimate shown before running a backtest is a conservative pre-reservation based on expected token usage. Actual cost is settled after the run from real token counts, and any over-reservation is refunded automatically. Factors that increase backtest credit cost:- More tokens in your whitelist
- Longer date range
- More data sources enabled
- Higher-cost AI model
BYOK — Bring Your Own Key (60% off)
If you have your own API key from a supported provider (REI Labs, Anthropic, OpenAI), plug it in under Settings → Inference Provider. With BYOK active, your credit cost drops by 60% — you still pay the platform layer (data sources, infrastructure, surge capacity) but skip the inference markup, since you’re covering that directly with your provider. The discount applies to backtests and live runs, and follows you everywhere you trigger a run — including from an MCP client like Claude. It’s opt-in via Settings; it is not applied automatically.MCP / external AI surfaces
Talking to your agent from Claude/ChatGPT over MCP is mostly free, with a few metered tools:- Chatting is free — that conversation runs on your own Claude/ChatGPT, not on Shekel.
- Most read tools are free — agent status, trades, performance, backtest history, reflections, notifications, decision history, basic HL state.
- Premium market-data tools cost a small per-call fee: max pain (50), liquidations (20), open-interest history (15), ETF-flow sentiment (5). Fear & Greed and basic HL state stay free.
- Backtests, manual runs, and your live agent bill at the normal credit rate (with the BYOK discount if enabled).
Checking Your Balance
Go to Account → Credits balance is shown at the top of the screen. The balance is also shown in the left nav panel (tap the Shekel logo to open it).Running Out of Credits
Your live agent will pause automatically if your balance reaches zero. It will resume once credits are added. You’ll receive a notification when the agent pauses for this reason.Open positions are not closed when the agent pauses due to depleted credits — they remain active on Hyperliquid and continue to be affected by market movement.
